Evaluation

To create my magazine  I used photoshop, this is because it has more tools and functions than that of another other adobe program. It gives the user tools that make them able to do things such as re scaling photos, cropping phtots and much more.
For the front i decided to use a custom made font, due to there not being much choice available, as well as this using a custom font would also make the magazine more professional and harder to impersonate.

The colour scheme of the font used is gold and white, this is because the two colours contrast. When it came to my front cover i took two possible photos, I used Rob as my model due to his friendly appeal. I chose the first photo over the second due to its better quality.

It was used as the dominant image.
Another reason this front cover was chosen was due to Robs direct dress to the audience

I cropped the background of both photos to ensure its as visually pleasing to the audiences eye as possible. To do this I used the eraser tool and the magic wand tool. As well as this i rescaled the image to fit the page and its need.
To cover some of the white background i used a bright red curtain, to not only relate the the film and theater genre but to grab the attentions of any readers. This curtain was plagiarized, if this was a real magaizine there was a possibility of getting sued.
The main strap line was related to the main article and in bold and easy to read font.

I included a brief over view of whats in the magazine as well as quotes from the model Robert, it uses the same colour scheme as the front cover, gold and white to keep in with the theme of the magazine. I used quotes over reviews because it gives the magazine a more professional theme. As well as letting the audience get closer to the model for the magazine.

The props used were a popcorn box, this is a cliche of going to watch films and the cinema itself. As well as this the model is sitting on a pop corn box, to add comedic affect.
The double page spread much like the front cover has large bold text to catch the eye of the reader.
The double page spread is modeled after a book, with the articles acting as the story on the pages of said
book.
As well as this it features another popcorn bag as a reference to cinema. it features an interview with Rob and the article itself. As well as this it features a photo of Rob (also cropped to be visually pleasing) reading watchmen, a popular novel turned to a film adaption. The book background is old and warn down to connote that this magazine is old and well used, showing its supported by a lot of the public.

The font is fitting with the theme and eye catching. This is to entice the audience.

Peoples evaluation of my magazine

Robert - The image for the front cover is good as it has a direct gaze which will get the audiences attention. However, the text seems to be everywhere.
he target audience for this magazine would mainly be males with occasional female readers. The age would range anywhere from 16-40 due to the range of films my magazine would be covering. The social class reading my magazine would definitely need to be upper, due to the speed in which the reviews would be released, directly after the films own release. People reading my magazine would need to be able to afford to see these titles at the pictures when they first become available to the public.
The purpose of my didgital magazine is too provide reliable and up to date reviews of upcoming and present films at the pictures. As well as this we would release a top 100 films list every year which would have been decided by the fans with help from the magazine.
The secondary images used were edited to fit their porpose in this magazine, such as being re sized and scaled.
