Annotations

The video above is a documentary centered around a member of the public that has suffered at the hands of identity fraud.
The mise en scene of the video its self is very bleak, the colours used are very plain and dreary, this is to show the audience how the character is feeling, he is a broken man, due to loosing the amount of money he lost. As well as this the character is dressed in black clothing to show how he feels about his situation. As well as this, i used a white back ground so the camera would have enough light and be balanced correctly.
I used a title card as a transition screen to enfacise the importance of technology in todays world, instead of a human making the transaction, showing how much we rely on machines.

The music I used was to make the audience feel sadness and to ponder the video, it is also unlicensed to comply with the laws of youtube.

To edit the video i used premier pro, this is due to all the tools it has to offer, such as the cutting tool which allows the user too cut off a clip where they see fit, you can also add music and adjust the volume and speed.

  1. Interview: You start with a good lead into this advert, you could have included Your-Identity also.
Next time, follow the brief more closely you should use a tripod as the camera does shake and is not correct for this style of advert.
The quality of the video is blurry, ensure you address this for your exam product.
You have included a score which is good, but at times it is a little too high and it is difficult to hear Rob.
You missed a flashback, J/L cut, 2 graphic facts. You will have ensure your exam product is within the time constraints, and consider how to end it also - perhaps the website for action fraud.

  2. Annotations: the amount of information you have explored here is not enough, and you will have to produce a significant amount of detail to achieve success here. Look at pre production, production and post production. You will get marks for the editing techniques employed and you can show this via a screen shots of Premiere Pro also.
In the exam we will need to produce a contents page for the examiner this will identify where all of your resources are on your USB stick.
