Magazine analysis
The Front cover of the magazine has a white background, this is to draw attention to the coloured parts of the cover. Such as the bold title 'NME' which is also bright red to draw the readers attention. As well as this, the award Johnny Marr is being awarded is visible on the cover, this is to reduce confusion among readers. Marr is also looking directly at the audience, this is called direct address, it helps to draw in the audience.
